Carissa Moore makes history once again

Congratulations to CPB ambassador Carissa Moore for winning the first-ever gold medal in women’s surfing at the Tokyo Olympics. From learning to surf in the waters of Waikiki to winning four World Surf League titles to competing on the world’s biggest stage, Carissa has embodied courage, perseverance, and true aloha, throughout her incredible journey.

Along with Carissa, we applaud all of the Hawaii athletes who competed in the Tokyo Olympics. Through their dedication and tireless efforts, they make all of Hawaii proud.

Visit our CPBxCarissa pop-up today

Celebrate Carissa’s victory by visiting the CPBxCarissa pop-up exhibit at our Main Branch in downtown Honolulu, which is now on display!

The exhibit features memorabilia reflecting career highlights, including a few of her favorite surfboards. To commemorate this historical moment, don’t forget to snap a selfie in honor of the Olympic gold medalist.
